Our Mission
Nak Muay Foundation, (NMF) was founded and dedicated to the growth of Muay Thai in the United States. The word “Muay” ( มวย ) derives from the Sanskrit Mavya which means “to bind together”. It is our goal to live by this meaning, and to share it with others. The dedication we see from the local Kru and their Nak Muay and Nak Muay Farang students continue to inspire us and calls us to action. Their contributions to the sport have directly led to the formation of this non profit organization.
We are grateful for this opportunity to give back to he Kru’s, coaches, gyms and all different backgrounds of Nak Muay who form our community and continue to dedicate their lives to this ancient sport. Giving Thanks, comes in all forms. You can trust that Nak Muay Foundation will do everything we can to grow the sport of Muay Thai, and give back to those in need.
